Amer G.Aboukasm, M.D., F.A.C.P. Dr. Aboukasm received his medical degree from St. Joseph’s University School of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon in 1984; in 1985 he went on to earn a diploma in Clinical Bacteriology-Virology from the Universite Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, France. He holds several board certifi cations, including the American Board of Sleep Medicine, the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry, the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology. In Henry Ford Hospital he completed his residency in Neurology where he also served as the Chief Neurology Resident and later went on to complete a Fellowship in Epilepsy and electroencephalography. Dr. Aboukasm is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He currently serves as Director of the Neurophysiology Department at St. John Hospital Medical Center.
